About LaunchLint

About LaunchLint and its editorial work

LaunchLint is built by Rene Dressel. It grew from the repeated work required to move AI-assisted mobile apps from a fast prototype to an actual Apple App Store or Google Play submission.

Why LaunchLint exists

Prototypes were quick. Submission was not. Permissions, SDKs, disclosures, listing copy, screenshots, review access, purchases, and account deletion had to describe the same release. Rejection messages often scattered the cause across documentation and project files.

LaunchLint turns that work into traceable static checks. It never executes untrusted code and separates file evidence, external store settings, and decisions that still require a signed build or human review.

Role and experience

Rene is responsible for product, engineering, and editorial maintenance. The experience comes from shipping mobile apps, building LaunchLint’s scanner, and continuously working with Apple, Google, Expo, Flutter, and Capacitor documentation.

LaunchLint does not claim Apple or Google certification. Store teams decide independently. The content explains risks and verification paths; it does not replace legal advice or testing the signed artifact.

How Academy articles are reviewed

Every guide starts with a real submission question and links important claims to primary sources whenever possible. The visible review date records when sources and product boundaries were last checked.

Corrections are applied to the article. Material editorial changes receive a new `lastmod`. Reproducible errors and outdated sources can be reported to support@launchlint.app.
